Job Description
DUI INSTRUCTOR / COUNSELOR (PART-TIME: 10–15 HOURS/WEEK)

We are seeking a part-time DUI Instructor / Counselor to provide education, counseling, and support to individuals charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI). In this role, you will guide participants in understanding the risks and consequences of impaired driving while equipping them with the tools to build healthier, substance-free lifestyles. Evening availability Monday–Thursday is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct interviews and assessments for new clients
Facilitate group education classes and individual counseling sessions
Teach First and Multiple Offender DUI classes
Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and attendance documentation
Promote responsible decision-making and substance abuse prevention
Attend staff meetings and complete other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of counseling experience working with individuals with alcohol or substance use issues
Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADAC) required
Available for evening schedule (Monday–Thursday)
Knowledge of substance use prevention and treatment practices
Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Zoom and DocuSign preferred
Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality
Willingness to obtain CADTP certification within 6 months of hire
