Job Description

Huitt-Zollars' Dallas, TX office has an immediate full-time Survey Instrument Operator opportunity. The candidate should be highly motivated with a strong interest in land surveying. We are a leading Architectural and Engineering firm providing innovative planning, engineering, architectural and interior design, construction and program management, and design-build project delivery to our clients in the public and private sector. Responsibilities

  • Work outdoors operating survey instruments and data collectors as necessary
  • Assist Party Chief in all aspects of survey assignments
  • Perform minor calculations for offsets, grades, closures, etc.
  • Make functional level and traverse field notes
  • Ensure all survey instruments receive maintenance and are in good working condition for measurement accuracy

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work outside in all seasons
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience preferred but not required
